INTEL RENEWS PARTNERSHIP WITH EPIC.LAN FOR 2024

On the back of a challenging, but strong year for EPIC.LAN, Intel is back as the headline sponsor for its fourth year. As the gaming and esports industries face tough days globally, the two organisations look to continue working together to make a positive impact on the UK’s grassroots communities.

EPIC.LAN attendees can expect great activations across the 3 main events taking place at Kettering Leisure Village in the East Midlands, showcasing the power of Intel Core and Intel ARC. Casual gamers can also look forward to the return of the Intel Community Championship Belt, allowing them to compete in a variety of fun games building up points to crown the ultimate champion. There will also be plenty of giveaways, stage content and wider activations to let the EPIC.LAN community experience Intel at its best.

Jon Winkle, Managing Director at EPIC.LAN, said “Intel has been a true partner for the  past three years at EPIC.LAN, including through the tough COVID times when community gaming was never more important. The team at Intel really understands that the path to pro starts at the grassroots level with events like ours and it’s great that they want to be a part of that entire journey through EPIC.LAN’s community.”

Mark Broom, UK Gaming and Esports Marketing at Intel, said "There are few gaming communities as passionate as EPIC.LAN. From casual tournaments like the Intel Community Championship Belt, through to major esports events, EPIC.LAN continues to be a vital way for Intel to connect with gamers from across the spectrum. We're excited to support EPIC.LAN in 2024 and can't wait to showcase the power of Intel Core and Intel ARC at EPIC41 in February."

EPIC41 takes place at Kettering Leisure Village from 22-25 February. Participant tickets are now sold out, but spectator tickets are still available. For more information head to www.epiclan.co.uk.
