League of Legends Elimination Part 1

Sumary of the First round of the Upper Bracket of the epic.14 Leauge of Legends tournament featuring :Choke Gaming vs Napoleon eSports, Team Infused vs Friendship is Magic, London Conspiracy vs Copenhagen Doges and Molotovs and Marshmallows Gaming vs elo boosted

Choke Gaming vs Napoleon eSports

A rather one side series, in which Choke Gaming dominated the early game and managed to keep growing the lead and winning in a timely manner with both matched finishing in under 25 minutes each. Napoleon did pull off some nice moves as the matches  transitioned to the Mid game but were unable to do more than delay Choke Gamings snowballing lead. Star player of this series was Choke toplaner Numlocked who came up huge in this series with a combined KDA of 15/0/6 meaning any future opponents might want to start looking at targeting bans towards his champion pool, while any worries over the substitute player Instictiv's jungle play were swiftly diffused by a strong showing especially in game number two.

Team Infused vs Friendship is Magic

The only series to be taken to all 3 games, this was a very back and forth series. Friendship is Magic took the first game after FiM took the early game by storm, forcing a clean win by superior vision control (over 50% more wards placed than Team Infused) and a strong  front line tank in the form of Sion providing an excellent meat shield for the Anivia who doesn't have an escape and otherwise would have relied only on Seraphs Embrace and her passive. Game 2 was a relatively clear win on the side of Team Infused with a very strong performance from new jungle Maxlore who finished the game with 75% kill participation on Rek'Sai. Infused also stepped up their warding for this game, which carried through to the final game, which was an incredibly back and forth game until Team Infused made a questionable Baron call, as although they took the baron, it was at the cost of 4 members which allowed FiM to take their inhibitor and ultimately the game even though Team Infused were still ahead by 1.6K gold as their nexus fell!

London Conspiracy vs Copenhagen Doges

Another One sided series, Copenhagen Doges were outclassed in every lane, and managed to pick up a few kills here and there but ultimately lost in two sub 25 minute games to a strong looks London Conspiracy squad. While HalfPastThor put up some decent scores in game 1, his game 2 performance was less commanding as he made up the majority of his teams deaths. Meanwhile Horo completely dominated from the Jungle ending the series with a total KDA of 15/2/12 and snowballing the entire game for his team.

Molotovs and Marshmallows Gaming vs elo boosted

The first game was a complete bloodbath with a final score of 42-18 to MnM. elo boosted managed to pick up a fair amount of kills but were stiill behind the entire game after giving up 3 kills in the first 5 minutes and did not manage to turn the kills into objectives, with 0/2 Dragons and only 2 towers over the course of the match. Game 2 was a lot more even with the gold advantage never exceeding 1.5k for the entirety of the first twenty minutes. MnM picked up the pace afterwards with Vedius creating picks on the enemy team allowing MnM to win teamfights and close out the game.
