epic.LAN is very proud to announce our latest addition to our streaming lineup for our next event epic.FIFTEEN.
With various feedback over the last few events we've made the decision to introduce a new concept and stream to our already existing lists of streams that run during the event.
The stream will be known as the 'Central Stream' and will act as a central hub for as many activities that we can cram in during the event and we're not just talking eSports here!
With plans to make the stream relevant to our dedicated eSports fans but also appeal to our fantastic social community. Read on to see what we have in store for the central stream at epic.FIFTEEN
So do you guys want to see what games we're playing at epic.FIFTEEN? head on over to the timetable. It's now up to date and has all the big games and fun tournaments we will be playing throughout the event not to mention such fun activities as the traditional pub quiz and boat race and info regarding bar and catering opening times.

With epic.FIFTEEN around 6 weeks away, we've had to take a decision to postpone our launch into the Call of Duty scene until a future event.
Despite lots of interest from players asking us to host Call of Duty and teams promising to attend at the point of announcing, we haven't seen that translate into actual bookings for the event. As we were looking to invest in all of the kit ourselves, so we can run a high quality tournament without relying on third parties, we felt that we could not take that huge personal financial risk without some definite team committments.
We will continue to monitor the Call of Duty scene and decide whether to reintroduce the tournament to our October event, subject to seeing sufficient definite interest.

Following on from last year’s successful Dota2 Challenge at EGX, we’re pleased to confirm that epic.LAN will be hosting an even bigger tournament in the build up to this September’s main event.
Four teams will once again have the opportunity to face off at the UK’s biggest games event in Birmingham by competing in a series of monthly online heats between now and August. The winning teams from each heat will earn EGX Super Passes, giving access to all 4 days of the show to experience that everything EGX has to offer, with the Dota2 grand finals taking place on Sunday 27th September for even more prizes.
In addition, the winning team from this July’s epic.FIFTEEN LAN event in Kettering, will qualify straight through to the EGX finals to join the winners of the monthly heats.
To sign up for the first of the monthly heats, head over to egx2015.epiclan.net to create your team.

Putting on a LAN event is very hard work, but extremely rewarding and it wouldn't be possible with the great volunteer team we have here at epic.LAN. With our last event selling out, nearly 1/4 of all the seats gone for epic.FIFTEEN and the introduction of our Xbox One COD tournament, the next event is shaping up to be very popular already so we're looking for a few more people to join our awesome team.
As many of you will be aware, following formal player reports, we had to investigate a number of matches from the epic.FOURTEEN CSGO tournament before confirming the winners. While the investigation was ongoing we suspended the prize giving to give the admin team time to come to their final decision, I'm sure everyone agrees that it would be wrong to finalise the results while an investigation is going on and naturally we cannot ignore complaints from players when they are made formally to our eSports team.
So now the admin team investigations have concluded, we can confirm that the original results of epic.FOURTEEN still stand:
We would like to thank both teams for their patience during the investigation, it's not a decision taken lightly, but hope all agree that the actions are absolutely necessary during these cases. Prize payments will be issued to the teams later today.
Congratulations to Obscene-eSports, epic.FOURTEEN winners!
