As I’m sure everyone has heard on the grapevine, a management split within GamerFM means that the brand has been sold to FragRadio. However, a significant number of the former GamerFM management and staff wished to start again as part of a new online radio venture.

We have enjoyed an excellent relationship with those people over the last 12 months, so naturally we couldn’t resist the opportunity to work even closer with those dedicated people. So we’re proud to announce epic.Radio! Bringing you the same quality content and presenters you’ve come to associate with the former GamerFM name.

This new station means that we can combine the best of online radio with our gaming community, LAN events and other activities planned for our community in the future. It’s going to take some time to get things back up and running (particularly the stream itself), so bear with us and watch this space for the latest news.

We look forward to a great future with epic.Radio and hope you all tune in soon!

We have decided to change from Mumble as TeamSpeak allows us more control and better integration. Plus we can have cool little icons next to the channel names! Our Mumble server will be shut down at midnight tonight.

Feel free to join the server whenever you want, if it's only for epic.Tuesday, or for any other gaming you are doing throughout the week, it's available for the community to use.

So come on in mock everyone as you steal their dog tags in Battlefield 3, or stab them in the back in TF2, or nom on them as a face hugger in Aliens vs. predator.

Ho Ho Ho! Don't forget guys Santa will be making an early stop at epic.lite so make sure you sign up for the free service to be included in the prezzies.

Add the free service to your epic.lite booking and in a week or so the elves will do their work and assign you a person to buy a gift for. You will then receive an automated secret mail telling you who to buy for. The limit is £5 and remember to wrap your present and label who it is for before you get to the event. We'll let you know when you arrive where you can put your presents ready for our Christmas morning!

Our quiz was full of the usual fun with 9 teams taking part and rounds like, science, TV advert music, gaming music and a staff 'Would I Lie To You?' round. After everyone had used their thinking caps to maximum capacity, the winners of the quiz were CantFitMyN!

So yesterday saw the close of epic.SEVEN (big sad faces). The event has gone too fast as usual and is now over until epic.lite in three weeks or for those of you not making it to lite its over until feb next year! Which seems like ages away but im sure it will come round quickly.

Most of the news is now up regarding the tournament finals and fun tournament finals and as the staff start to recover from LAN a few final posts will go up to fill in the gaps such as full quiz results but to keep you busy in the mean time the Galleries are now up to date with all the images from the last day including prize giving.
